Our Story

Hi! We’re Aubrie and David, a design-build duo (and couple) creating our dream home with a whole lot of kids, creativity, and real life in the mix.

Aubrie’s the designer- interiors are her love language. She’s spent over 15 years helping people bring beauty and intention into their homes, and now it’s her turn to do it for our family. David’s the builder and the cook - usually working with a hammer in one hand and a cast iron pan in the other. Together, we’ve figured out that our sweet spot is somewhere between sawdust and style.

We’re building a house, but we’re also sharing the behind-the-scenes of what it looks like to build a life: raising kids, running a business, making mistakes, and figuring it out as we go. This space is where we share the good stuff: design ideas, construction progress, meals around the table, and all the messy in-between moments.
